Annette Fisch joined K&S in 2000 as Special Counsel specializing in the firm's licensing and transactional intellectual property practice. Annette has over 15 years of experience in handling transactional IP including licensing, corporate, and financial matters.

Prior to joining K&S, Annette served as the Vice President of North American Operations and Legal Affairs of Quark Pharmaceuticals Inc. (QBI), a biopharmaceutical company focused on applied genomics, where she was responsible for managing the company's contractual/legal activities and coordinating its operations in the United States, including handling its contracts and licenses, industrial research agreements, academic and industry collaborations, confidentiality and employment issues, and product development and distribution agreements. Annette was previously associated with the law firm Robinson Silverman Pearce Aronsohn & Berman LLP, now Bryan Cave LLP, where she provided counsel to companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and banking industries in a variety of areas. Prior to working at Robinson Silverman, she was employed by Cameron Hornbostel & Butterman, an international boutique firm, which merged with Robinson Silverman Pearce Arohnson & Berman in 1989.

Annette received her Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1986, where she was a member of the school's Law Review journal. She received her A.B. degree from Barnard College, Columbia University in 1983. In 1990, Annette published an article in the Hastings Law Journal advocating the preservation of diplomatic immunity under international law.
